The 2026 CSS/FR conference will take place at Palais Hirsch in Lyon on June 1^st and 2^nd, 2026. It will gather the multi-disciplinary scientific community that studies complex systems:

• network analysis (for urban transport, smart grids, networks of socio-economic stakeholders, biological neural networks, ...)
• statistical approaches of collective effects in human and animal societies, socio-economic systems, and neural networks
• propagation dynamics of opinions, social unrest, crises, ...

By their very nature, these topics are located at the interface between numerous fields: Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistical Physics, Cliometry, Social Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science, Geography. These diverse communities have an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas in the Complex System conferences.

The CSS/FR conferences are held annually and are cornerstones of the cohesion of the French scientific community involved in complex systems. 

The registration fees for contributors and attendees will be specified in March, but we can already announce that they should be around 250 Euros / 150 Euros in discounted rate (for PhD students, etc.)
